eTwinning Plus Azerbaijan is planning to hold a National Conference in Guba on 12-14 November 2018. The Conference will last three days on the topic of “Project based learning”. More than 50 local teachers will participate in the Conference. The aim of the event is to share the experience on modern usage of technology in education, increase cooperation between local and European teachers, enlarge the projects’ scope in the country and develop teachers’ knowledge and skills. There will be different workshops and training by experts.

         Overall, 301 schools joint eTwinning in Azerbaijan. There are more than 901 projects realized by 803 Azerbaijan teachers in eTwinning portal. eTwinning teachers have lots of opportunities to participate in onsite trainings, conferences and professional development courses. These kind of onsite trainings are organized in one of the member countries and they usually last for 2-3 days. All costs of the trips are met by the budget of eTwinning grant project signed by the Bureau on ICT for Education.
